Identifying main street amenities

One of our favourite parts of our data is when a well loved main street shows up prominently on the amenity mapping.

It's one thing to hang out on High Street, Preston or Drummoyne's Victoria Road and know that these places offer a great mix of things to do and have locally loved businesses. But when the data so clearly shows the difference between these thriving local hubs, and the less legible, less pedestrian, less compelling highway-side retail centres (sorry Kenmore!) it makes the little Urban Designer inside us happy.
